In April, FOUNDATION NKOY embarked on a transformative 10-day business trip to Budapest, Hungary, to solidify relationships and partnerships for positive change. The delegation, consisting of seven members from Foundation Nkoy Commette, came together with a shared vision of fostering collaboration in various domains, such as Education and Technology, to drive impactful change in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

We felt at home...

The trip started with a warm welcome from our Hungarian counterparts, setting the tone for a productive and synergistic partnership ahead. We were honoured to be received by the Honorary Consular of Congo in Hongria, Mr France Mutombo.

As we delved into discussions and exchanged ideas, it became evident that both parties shared a passion for making a difference and creating sustainable solutions to our communities' challenges. We concluded future collaboration on “MAISON PORTE HONGRIE."

One of the focal points of our visit was exploring opportunities for collaboration in the field of Education. l'ONGD Fondation pour l'Afrique and Foundation Nkoy Commette expressed mutual interest in enhancing educational facilities, promoting digital literacy, and empowering the youth with the necessary skills for a brighter future in the DRC. Through fruitful discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions, we identified key areas where our expertise could complement each other to bring about meaningful impact.

We had the privilege to meet and hold business discussions with the the Head of Africa department in the Hongria ministry of foreign affairs Mme Katalin Nyirati .

Many collaboration opportunities were discussed...

In addition to Education, the delegation explored potential collaborative projects in the Technology sector. With a shared goal of leveraging technology for social good, we discussed initiatives to bridge the digital divide, promote innovation, and drive sustainable development in the DRC. The exchange of ideas and best practices during the trip laid a strong foundation for future collaborations that would harness the power of technology to catalyze positive change.

As the 10-day business trip drew close, the delegation reflected on the valuable connections, the knowledge exchanged, and the bonds forged during their time in Budapest. The spirit of collaboration and partnership that permeated every interaction served as a testament to the potential for great things to come in the journey towards positive change in the DRC.

Looking ahead, Foundation Nkoy Committee is eager to translate the outcomes of this trip into concrete actions that will benefit communities in the DRC. By harnessing both Organisations' collective expertise, resources, and passion, we are confident that we can create a legacy of impact and transformation that will resonate far beyond borders.

In conclusion, the business trip to Budapest was not just a journey of networking and relationship-building but a stepping stone towards a brighter future for the DRC. Foundation Nkoy Committee stands united in its commitment to driving positive change, and the seeds sown during this trip will surely blossom into a fruitful partnership that will empower future generations.

Best Regards,

Foundation NKOY
